This page explains how Karl Loren will make use of Google Places, starting with Buzz, to send messages which will be "published on a Google Cloud" with that further explained here.

This page, itself, is "on a cloud" in that its address is unusual, but Goggle Cloud pages have a far different type of unusual web address and can be encrypted, then sent from Google Docs, the link, to only one person to see, etc.

I have much more to learn about this.
